About CCH...
CCH is a non governmental organization officially formed on April 22, 2002 and recognized by Cambodian Ministry of Interior. Ms. Osanai Mieko, President of Japan Team of Young Human Power (JHP), and Mr. Mech Sokha, director of CCH, are its co-founders. Mr. Oum Hoeung, Director of Phnom Penh Department of Education, Youth and Sport, sits on CCH’s Board of Directors together with Sokha. CCH is a member of the Cambodian NGO Committee on Rights of the Child and receives support from the Phnom Penh Department of Education, Youth and Sport. JHP provided initial construction and operating costs for CCH.
CCH I
CCH I is located in southern Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. CCH I consists of an original large building with a courtyard, and a second floor area which is a meeting place and a library. In front and along one side, there is a garden. In back and along one side, a new dining/cooking facility has recently been constructed. At the front, a four story structure provides classroom space, Director's living quarters.
CCH II
CCH 2 is located 400 meters away from CCH 1. Children can come by foot from CCH 1. The construction of the 2 story CCH 2 building was wholly funded by The Japanese organization, JHP, which also helped CCH to get started in 2002. CCH 2 is used as the dormitory and skill training center for sewing and computers. As of August 19, 2006, CCH moved some boys over from CCH 1 to live at CCH 2, but these boys come to have meals and study at CCH 1 .
CCH Youth House
The new CCH Youth House may eventually be 3 stories, and may house about 35-40 youth, but for now, the ground floor has been completed and the second floor is partially complete.
CCH III

Up until February, 2010 , CCH 3 was only a bare lot. Acquisition of this space was essential during the 2008-2009 time period, to make sure that CCH would not be priced out of the market by future economic developments in and around Phnom Penh. The land was purchased through grants from donors in Norway and the United States. CCH 3 will eventually contain dormitories and possibly a school facility. The site is outlined in blue.
In September 2009, CCH received a large grant from the Eli Svanhild Riska Thorsen Group of Norway, to begin dormitory construction on CCH 3 in mid-2010. The photo to the right shows construction progress as of September, 2010. The building under construction will be a 3 story dormitory for CCH children. The ground floor will be ready for occupancy by mid-2011.
